把貓丟收容所不養了 女飼主抱怨牠「太熱情、話很多」惹惱人

美國佛羅里達州去年12月發生一起棄養事件，一名女飼主將寵物貓「傑里（Jerry）」帶到收容所，表示貓咪「太熱情、話太多」了，所以不想要繼續飼養，消息曝光引發愛貓人士抨擊。所幸經過1個月的等待，傑里終於等到願意愛牠的新主人，擺脫陰霾迎接新生活。

綜合外媒報導，原飼主向布勞沃德縣人道協會（Humane Society of Broward County）表示，傑里實在太熱情，不但會在門口迎接人，還會「一直說話」，種種舉動都惹火了她。人道協會工作人員心疼地說，4歲大的傑里是隻可愛的貓，喜歡被撫摸和磨蹭人，沒想到卻成了被棄養的原因，「因為牠太愛主人，主人不愛牠，所以被帶到了收容所......。」

傑里的故事在臉書、TikTok等社群平台曝光後，很快就引起愛貓人士的留言討論，「不敢想像傑里有多難過」、「很多人抱怨貓不親切，然而這個可愛的寶寶，卻因為太親切而被拒絕」、「你不想要一隻深情的寵物，就不要養寵物」、「太讓人心碎，這讓我哭了」、「希望這隻可憐的貓，有人會給予牠很多愛」，大家都很不捨貓咪的遭遇。

值得開心的是，日前布勞沃德縣人道協會傳出好消息，透露傑里被認養了，終於找到一個永遠充滿愛的家，可以盡情表達牠對主人的愛意。人道協會工作人員說，傑里的新媽媽在社交平台看到牠的影片，隔天就來到收容所認養，「因此非常感謝這段日子以來，幫忙分享影片的大家！」
