美國紐約一隻狐狸犬在密閉車裡困了2個多小時，警方破門救援狗狗馬上喝了好多水，好消息是最後這隻狗狗被其中一名救援的警察領養，而原飼主必須面對法律制裁。
紐約市當地時間6月19日有市民通報一隻狗狗被關在車裡，當時溫度大約攝氏29度．而密閉的車內很快就能達到攝氏38度，這隻狗狗已經受困2個多小時，警察連繫不上飼主又擔心狗狗的安危，決定直接破窗救狗。

雖然情況緊急，但警察還是準備了狗餅乾，慢慢接近避免狗狗再受到驚嚇，而毛孩醫獲救馬上喝了好多水，隨後被送到動物醫院治療。飼主也因虐待動物而須接受法律制裁，這段期間狗狗就再SPCA防止虐待動物協會接受照顧。
NYPD 19th Precinct在28日宣布，當初參與救援的警察Maharaj決定領養這隻狗狗，「牠再也不會受到忽視了。」許多網友對於這樣的結局非常開心，感謝警察給毛孩機會，也慶幸毛孩再也不用擔心受怕了。
